Will has grown a lot since these pictures were taken, but I never posted any of his newborn pictures that my wonderful friend Sara took! They are so cute! He is just so adorable. He is now 8 weeks old. Wow, how the time has flown, I do not like it! I started back to work this week and my mom is going to be keeping him. It is so hard to leave him everyday, I miss him all day long and the nights are just not long enough, but I know most of you know this. We tryto make the most of our afternoon/evenings together.

I will be posting more pictures as I am back to work!

1 Month Old

My My were has the time gone............

I do not have pictures to post today as I need to load them on the computer but I will do that soon, so you can see just how much Will has grown. He has grown so much and it is so amazing to watch him grow. He is such a blessing and such a joy.

We had his 1 month check up yesterday and he was 9lbs 15oz and 23 inches tall. He has grown so much and he is getting so big, I cannot believe how tall he is. He is a very good baby. We sleep very good at night almost every night, we do have awake time around 3:00 every morning as he likes to makes lots of noise!!! We love bath time (thank goodness) but are still not crazy about diaper change (sometimes he does not make a sound and others he gets very mad) so I know the day is coming that he will not mind at all.

I cannot even begin to explain how much our lives have changed during the past month with having him in our lives, it has been the most amazing and wonderful month of our lives and I love every minute of it! I will say he is a baby that likes to be held during the day and entertained, so you see where all my time goes, holding him and cuddling with him. It is so wonderful!

Well I hear my little man trying to wake up and so that means he will be hungry when he does. I have taken lots of pictures and I will post them soon I promise! Hope everyone is doing well!

Welcome to the World my Sweet Sweet Baby

It has been a long time and I know many of you have been waiting to see pictures of our sweet sweet baby Will. Will was born last Thursday, April 22 at 11:15 am. He weighed in at 7 pds 12 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. It was the best day of my entire life. Here are just a couple of pictures. The first one was taking by my dad, but I had to take a picture of a picture, so the quality is not the best, but it is my favorite first picture of him. Chad and I took lots of pictures of him at the hospital with our new camera, but I have not had the chance to sit down and figure out how to put them on the computer. Once I do I promise I will share more pictures.

Here is our going home picture. We got to leave early Sunday morning to head home!! Will was very glad to be home!

I will be posting more pictures as soon as I figure out how to get them on the computer. My little brother is getting me a new laptop to use so I can hopefully do more on the blog, I just do not like using the desktop, I like to be close to Will.

Being a mom is the best thing that I have ever experienced. Hearing him cry for the first time is unlike any thing that I have ever heard and it was the sweetest most precious moment in my entire life. He is such a sweet sweet baby. The first 2 nights at home were long as it wanted me to hold him all night for him to sleep, but the last 3 nights have been wonderful. He sleeps all night and only wakes up to change his diaper and nurse about every 2-3 hours and then right back to sleep. I know there will be more and more nights like the first 2, but I do not mind, sometimes they just need their mommy!

Chad has been so wonderful. He is a great daddy and Will just loves him! Chad has been my rock through all of this, in the hospital when I had to have a sudden C-section and was so scared, Chad was the rock and was so wonderful. I could not ask to be married to a better husband and a better daddy!

Will also had his first appointment on Wednesday, and it was a great one. Dr. Lytle said he is perfect and he even gained 4 oz since leaving the hospital. He is a great breast feeder.

Well that is all for now. I will not be posting as much as I did before probably as I love spending all my time with Will, I just wanted to give an update and let everyone know how good we are all doing.

Thanks to all our family and friends during the past week, you have all been so great and supportive and I love each and everyone of you. My mom comes over every day since Chad went back to work and helps with everything, I do not know what I would do without her. I just hope she knows how grateful we are for her.

39 Weeks!

So could this be the last belly picture???

I will say that I think I have gotten huge, I feel like a whale!!! LOL

Well I went to the doctor this past Monday and had not progressed any further, still only 1.5 dilated. If he is not here by Monday, I will have an Ultra Sound and we will schedule me to be induced next week!! I am so excited. I will keep you all posted. I will say this, I have had lots and lots of contractions this week and lots of pressure related pain, maybe this is a good sign!

Well my wonderful husband gave me my birthday present last night!! It was a new camera!! It is a Nikon D5000 SLR! I am so excited!!!!! He is a wonderful husband and I am so thankful!!

Well this weekend I am not sure what is going on. Tomorrow is the A-Day game and I think Chad will probably go (I am nervous about him going as if I went in labor it would be hard for him to get home quickly as he will be going with my grandparents and riding the RV. )

38 WEEKS

So I am 38 Weeks!!! Here is the latest Belly Picture! All I am going to say... I AM STARTING TO SWELL!!! LOL

So I cannot believe only 2 weeks until my due date! Maybe I will get lucky and have him early. I went to the Doctor on Monday and not too much has changed, my cervix has started to soften. She said that this next week we should really be able to see a difference, so I go back this Monday!! I will keep you posted!

It Has Been a While....35.....36... and now 37!

Have you missed me??? I have missed all you you!

Well all I will start with, it has been a CRAZY couple of weeks at work and I have been working many many long days. But first, lets do Belly Pictures......

35 Weeks............. Getting Big!!

Now, 37 Weeks!!! WOW REALLY BIG........

First, yes I know I am wearing the same shirt in 2 of these pictures, but what do you expect, it is getting warm and I do not want to buy any more clothes and I LOVE THIS SHIRT!! LOL

So I will try not to bore you too much. Work has been crazy, we have been going through Open Enrollment and me being in the Benefit's Department has kept me right in the middle of it all, but good news, it ended yesterday!!

So I had a doctor's appointment last Tuesday, March 30h. Everything looked good, she said just a small amount of dilation, but nothing to really "count yet" she expects that to be around 38 weeks. Well little did she know, that Thursday, I would end up in Labor and Delivery. Yes oh Yes, I had a trail run Thursday. At work I noticed something was going on and I was not sure about it, so I started timing them and they were around 5-6 minutes apart, so I called the doctor and they had me come in and then sent me to Labor and Delivery where sure enough I was starting labor. They would like you to be officially 37 weeks before you deliver (and showing no signs of dilation) so they wanted to see if they could be stopped, so they gave me something and they stopped, so that is good, I think Will was trying to play an April's foul joke on his mommy!! LOL........They said if it happens again, they will not stop them.

So it was an exciting week. Crazy. It did make me realize that I still need to do a few things, so that is what I am doing today, making my call list and email list and making sure everything is ready for Will. I cannot wait to meet him!!

Well tomorrow is Easter and it is going to be a very busy day for us as I am sure it is for you as well. We have church and lunch with my family and then dinner with Chad's family. Needless to say I will be tired tomorrow night.

I will not miss a post next week, I go back to the doctor Monday!! I hope that you each have a wonderful Easter!!!

Doctor Appointment Update

Good morning!

I had a doctor appointment yesterday and an ultrasound! It is amazing how much he has grown! He looked great and healthy and his measurements were perfect! They are estimating that he weights around 5 pounds and 1 ounce. He has hair and he is head down, so that is great news!

I go back in 2 weeks and then I start my weekly appointments. I cannot believe how fast this is going by.

34 Weeks!!! WOOOHOOO

Happy Friday! Here is this weeks Belly Picture! Can you believe 34 Weeks??
I am getting bigger, or I should say Will is getting bigger!

This past week has been busy. Last Friday was my work shower. It was so amazing. Deborah and Suzanne here at work put it all together and they did a fabulous job!! It was perfect. There are so many people who I work with that did so much for me and Will. I am so very thankful to work with such great people! I have posted pictures on the previous post!!

So this week, I had a place removed from my face. It was something pregnancy related and it was not getting any smaller. So it is removed; however, you can see a small black place on my face. It will be gone soon hopefully!!!

The other big thing going on this week.... Chad and I bought a new car for him, he needed a daddy car instead of the jeep. So he is leaving today to go pick up the car in Jacksonville, FL. A friend of his is going with him, thanks Joseph! We bought an Infinite M35, it is so pretty and I am very excited for Chad as he has been wanting a new car for a while, it just took a while to find one!!

So this weekend, I am going to do some house work and get some more things ready for Baby Will's arrival. I am also doing the Big Springs 1 mile fun run (or I should say walk) in the morning! See you there Tara and Sara!

33 Weeks

Good morning and TGIF!

I cannot believe I am already 33 Weeks! Only 7 weeks until we get to meet this precious baby boy!! Here is my weekly belly picture!

Last weekend was my baby tea. It was so wonderful. I have the best friends and family to through me such a wonderful tea. Everything was so beautiful and perfect, thank you all so much for all your help. Also, thank you everyone who came. It was so good to see everyone and Will got some great things to start off his life! He is truly a blessed little boy as is his mom! I have posted my pictures on the previous post, I have never posted pictures this way through shutterfly, but it was very easy, I might do that again!

This has been a very busy week. Today is my baby shower at work. I am very excited about it! I have so many wonder friends here and it is so nice of them to give me a shower. I know it will be lots of fun. I will post pictures next week.

I also had my doctor appointment this week. Everything is looking good! I have my next one in 2 weeks and we will get to see how big baby Will is as they are doing an ultrasound. I am so excited to get to see him, it has been since I was 18 weeks!! After this appointment we start going every week. We are in the final stretch.

32 Weeks... Finally Friday!

Happy Friday!! TGIF


I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am that today is Friday. I thought this weekend would never come. I have lots going on this weekend, but before we get to that, let me post my weekly picture!!!

Not my best picture. I actually felt pregnant for the first time yesterday and I guess it went into the night, because I woke up at 2:45 this morning and could not go back to sleep, it was horrible. I just laid there until 4:00 when I decided to get up and go play on the computer..... sad I know, so needless to say I am so ready for bed time!!

Well this weekend is going to be very busy! Tomorrow my mom and I are meeting one of my oldest and dearest friends Wendy and her mom Betty for lunch. I am so excited. We have not seen each other in about 4 years so it will be so nice to catch up with them! Then tomorrow, one of my close friends is having a baby shower. She is adopting twin boys! I am so excited for her! Then on Sunday is my baby tea!!! YEA!! I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am for Sunday!! I cannot wait to see everyone and see what all Will gets. 9 of my closest friends are hosting and I am so thankful for each and everyone of them and so blessed to have them all in my life. I love you all! Thank you!

So this weekend is going to be a very busy one if you can tell! Next Friday is my work baby shower and it is going to be big too from what I hear!! Suzanne and Deborah who I work with are doing a great job putting it together, they will not tell me all the details but I know it is going to be great!! Thanks girls, it means a lot to me!

31 Weeks!

Good morning and Happy Monday,




I cannot believe that it is already Monday, this weekend went by way to fast.





To start off my blog today, I will let you see my every growing belly!
I would say that I am getting bigger, I did feel huge on Friday (when this picture was taken).... So that is a good thing right?? Considering I have less than 9 weeks to go!!! 9 weeks until I meet this amazing little boy inside me, I cannot wait!!

So this weekend was very busy! Saturday Chad and I attended Planning for Parenthood. It was a very good class and was very informative. Then after that we had our niece's birthday party at Chuckie Cheese that we tried to make it to, but did not. I hate that we did not make it, we will have to make it up to her! Saturday night we had one of our best friends 30th Birthday Party! Happy 30th Brad! We went bowling for his birthday and then to eat Mexican! It was a long night for this one!!

Yesterday we had a lazy day. My wonderful mom and dad came over and helped us hang some things in Will's room. My dad painted his letters for his wall and some canvas's for his bathroom, he did an amazing job! I will post pictures eventually of everything.

I also had a doctor's appointment last Monday and Will is doing great! We go back again next week!

10 Weeks and Counting!

You read correctly, I am 30 weeks today!! My how the time has flown! I cannot believe that I will be meeting baby Will in the next 10 weeks. To say that I am so excited is a slight understatement. It is so amazing how much I already love him and love to connect with him. When he moves around and wiggles I love to talk to him and play with him. The other day, he kept moving his knee (I think it was a knee, could have been anything) and he would move it twice and I would push back twice and he would push back twice, it kept going for a while. I think I started crying I was so excited to have him interact with me. It is just an amazing experience.

So here is my belly picture for the week.

Not too much bigger, but I am feeling bigger. I am starting to get uncomfortable at night for some reason. I have what I would say is heartburn and the only way I am comfortable is if I go lay in the bed with my body pillow! Other than that I feel great!

I am going at lunch today to pick up his dresser, it came in yesterday. My friend Leigh is going to go with me and then we are going to go to Hobby Lobby and see what we can get into.

Tomorrow, I am hoping to do my Belly Pictures with Sara if it is pretty! Who knows around here anymore! Then Erica is going to come over and paint his letters for his room! I am so excited! Things are coming together so great!

Well I hope that everyone has a great Friday! I am so glad that it is Friday and we have a long weekend. I have a doctor's appointment Monday morning and Mom and I are going to work on his bathroom!

Belly Picture and Weekend Update

Good morning! Here is Friday's Belly Pic - 29 Weeks!!

So this weekend was pretty productive. I found the letters that I am going to paint for his room. I went all over town Saturday morning to find them. My dad and Chad painted his room Saturday and put his crib together! It looks so good. I will take pictures and post them soon!! I am so excited about it all coming together! Yesterday was one of my best friends little boys (Hudson's) Baby Dedication. It was really sweet. Then we all went to eat lunch after, it was a lot of fun. Last night of course was the SuperBowl so I watched for the commericals and I say they were not too good...

Well I hope this week is better than last week at work, we have been so busy. That I the third trimester tiredness has hit. By 5:00 every afternoon it is all I can do to keep my eyes open!

Baby Will Update (28 weeks and counting)

Happy Hump Day!

Well I am almost 29 weeks (that will be Friday) but I have not posted in a while so I will give you a small update. I went to the doctor on Monday and he is measuring perfectly. It was the quickest appointment that I have had so far so that was nice. I go back on February 15th! I will be 30 weeks then, OMG... I cannot believe it. I will try to post a belly picture this Friday!

He is doing great, moving around all the time. We are hopefully painting this weekend (or I should say Chad and my dad are going to paint), then maybe we can put the crib together and go pick up the dresser since it should be ready by the weekend! I am also going to do my belly pictures this Saturday. I was thinking about not doing these, but one of my best friends Sara loves photography and takes all her boys pictures herself and they are so great. She asked if I wanted her to do my pictures, so sure why not!! It cannot be too bad right!

Well I hope you are all having a great week. It has been a very very busy one at work so it is hard to find time to post, because when I am at home I want to do nothing!!

27 Weeks

So here I am at 27 WEEKS!! WOW only 13 weeks to go!! I am so ready to meet this little one. He had the hiccups for the first time that I noticed on Wednesday night. It was so funny and so amazing!! I am still feeling pretty good! I have gotten more tired quicker in the evenings this week but other than that still doing great!

Baby Will Update

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I had the day off yesterday and it was nice, I wish I always had Mondays off!

Well yesterday I had a doctor's appointment and my sugar test. Guess What? I passed!! That was some great news!! The test was not too bad, I was just not wanting to do the 3 hour test so I was so glad when she told me I passed!! Will is doing great! He measured perfectly (a little past 26 weeks) and his heart rate was 155. He was being cute while she was listening......he kept moving so she would have to keep moving to listen, I kept laughing!! Now I go back every 2 weeks. I cannot believe it, it is going by so fast!!

The weekend was fun! Tara and I went shopping on Saturday and got some things for Will and I got my diaper bag! I am so excited! I had to order it, so it should be in soon! That night, Adam and Lyndsi came over and we cooked steak and watched The Hangover (I slept). And then Sunday we went to Church and out to lunch with Alex, Jamie and the boys! It was a nice weekend. Now back to a busy week at work (fun fun...lol)

Alabama Game, 25 Weeks, New Years, Baby Name and Christmas...Oh My!

Happy Friday!!!

Well as you can tell by the title of this blog I have a lot to catch up on. It has been a busy week with coming back to work after a long holiday and then with the "snow" and all!!!

Lets just start off by saying ROLL TIDE!! That was a great game last night and I am so super excited that Alabama won. I am very tired today from staying up to watch the game, but it was worth it! I can catch up tomorrow!!!


25 Weeks!! Wow!! I know I say this a lot, I am so bad about posting every week. I will truly try to post every Friday with a weekly picture. Just because I do not post every week does not mean I do not take them, because I do!! So here is today's picture!!

Well at 25 weeks I still feel great. I am still in the 2nd Trimester Honeymoon!!! No complaints!! I will say that I am (knock on wood) having an easy pregnancy!! I hope the next 15 weeks are this good!!! I am sure they will get harder!!

I will say this, my favorite thing in life is feeling him move. In the past week it is amazing how much more active he is and it is the most amazing thing in the world!!!! It lights up my heart so much and you can see it on my face each time he moves. I will remember this for as long as I live!! Last night during the came I think he was practing his kicks, I think we have a little punter in their!! LOL. He moved so much, I think with me being nervous he must have known!

Well for New Years we were in the Smokey Mountains. That is where we have been the last 13 years in a row with my family to celebrate the New Year. We left on the 27th and game back on the 3rd! It was a great trip; however, it was one of the coldest trips I can remember!! We had a great time and I cannot wait to go back next year and take the baby for the first time!! He will love it!!!! I hope we can always keep this tradition up!!

Well I know many of you know that we have named the baby, but I was waiting to post it because his father was giving me a hard time. Chad and I came up with a boy name a few years ago so as soon as we were told that we were having a boy I started calling the baby by his name. Well Chad likes to pick on me so he would never confirm the name, until Christmas Eve... he gave me a confirmation FINALLY, so now we all call the baby his name....William Lawrence Carpenter (we will call him Will). This is a family name. My little brother and my grandfather are William and Chad and his father both have Lawrence as a middle name so we both love this name and calling him Will is great! I just love his name!!!

Christmas was great!! We had Christmas Eve at my parents house and that is always fun. It went really smooth this year and we were on time with the dinner and all (I help my mom cook everything and we usual get behind). Christmas morning Chad family (which included his moms mom and Tom, Brandy (his sister), Sheldon, Maddie, Bella) and my family (which inlcuded my mother and father and brother) and even Tom's children Amanda and Chris all came to our house for breakfast! It was a lot of fun cooking together!!! Then for the rest of the day Chad and I played Wii..... It was so nice and relaxing. We even ate a frozen pizza for dinner. It is funny how our Christmas is so laid back, but next year with Will it will be so different. I cannot wait!!!

I was hoping for a snow day today but oh well, at least it is Friday. I hope everyone has been safe and will bundle up for the weekend as it is going to be a cold one!!
